How to design a brochure?
What is a brochure used for?
What are the different types of brochure folds?
● Bifold, it’s a sheet folded directly in half. Folded in just one place, it cleanly divides the brochure into two parts.
● Trifold, it's folded in two places and the brochure is divided into three, even rectangular sections.
● Z Fold, is constructed by folding a sheet of paper twice in the shape of the letter “Z”.
● Gate Fold, is a print with 3 panels; it has two opposite sides that are folded to meet at the center. The folded size is wider than a standard tri-fold brochure.
● French Fold, the page is folded both vertically and horizontally.
● Accordion Fold, the brochure uses a series of alternating folds, in an accordion-like fashion.
● Double Parallel Fold, the print is folded in half then in half in the same direction.
● Roll Fold, there are multiple panels of the same side, where each page folds in on itself.
● Double Gate Fold, is two side panels that open like gates and fold the sheet in half.
